Insurance

Health Insurance

Sabre offers two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) medical plans and a High Deductible Health Plan with a Health Savings Account (HSA) that is administered by UnitedHealthcare. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately. Health insurance includes prescription coverage for the employee and their dependents.

Client Advocate Center

Sabre offers the Client Advocate Center to all eligible employees. This comprehensive program will assist with clinical and administrative issues and help employees get answers involving their medical, hospital, dental, mental health and other healthcare issues. The Client Advocate Center will also help employees: (1) in finding doctors, specialists and hospitals (2) untangling medical bills and (3) locating eldercare and support services.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Sabre employees who are enrolled in the Standard Life and AD&D Life Plans, and Short- and Long-Term Disability Plans are eligible to receive the benefits of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP is a confidential, round-the-clock service that helps employees and their families balance the demands of work, life and personal issues. EAP offers counseling, information and referral services for issues such as mental health concerns, family life, managing stress, etc.

Life Insurance

Sabre offers a life insurance policy through The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately.

Dental Insurance

Sabre offers dental coverage from Guardian Life Insurance Company of America to all employees. In-network PPO coverage is as follows: 100% Preventative, 90% Basic and 60% Major. Out-of-network is as follows: 100% Preventative, 80% Basic and 50% Major. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee and their dependents become eligible immediately.

Disability Insurance

Sabre provides short-term and long-term disability insurance to employees through The Standard Life Insurance Company. Short-term disability benefits begin on the first day after injury and the eighth day after illness for 13 weeks. Maternity benefits are covered. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately. Long-term disability benefits begin after the short-term disability period ends.

Flexible Spending Account

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow employees to have a portion of income set aside on a pre-tax basis for the payment of unreimbursed medical, dental, and vision expenses. Other qualifying expenses including prescription drug expenses, over-the-counter medication expenses, parking and transit expenses, and dependent/child care expenses. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, the employee becomes eligible immediately.

Health Savings Account

Vision

Employees working 30+ hours are eligible to join the vision plan. Sabre’s vision plan is a PPO. Employees receive the best cost for services by staying within the Davis Network.

Prescription Coverage

Sabre provides prescription coverage as part of your medical coverage. This coverage includes generic and brand prescriptions.

Direct Deposit

Sabre employees can have their paychecks direct deposited. Pay can be split between two separate accounts. Expense reimbursements can also be directly deposited into the employee’s account(s).

Referral Bonus

Sabre knows that great employees know great people. That’s why Sabre offers a generous referral bonus to employees who refer individuals for full-time employment at Sabre. Some exceptions exist.

Identity (ID) Theft

All employees can enroll in ID Theft Protection for $6.50/month. This includes restoration of credit or financial reputation for themselves, spouses, and their children under 26 years of age.

Cell Phone Discounts

Sabre offers employees an 11% discount on their monthly bills with Verizon Wireless. An additional 3% can be included if paperless billing is selected. For AT&T Wireless customers, a 9% discount is offered off the monthly service charge on qualified wireless plans.
